  Bachelor of Arts (BA)  
     
 
Entry Requirements :
For admisssion to BA part l of the above course
The Part l Sahll be open to a candidate who has passed, not less than one academic year previously, any of thw following examinations:
Senior Secondry Certificate Part ll (12th calss) examination of the Punjab School Education Board OR Pre-Medical / Pre-Engineering examination of GNDU OR
Any other examination recognized by GNDU s equivalent to any of the Examination, mentioned under (i) and (ii) above, shall also be to the examination if he fulfil other canditon such as combination of subjects and/ or minimum percentage of marks required to the examination . A candidate wihtout Pass in English Will have to pass (from the Parent University / Borad of Punjab School Education Board) English in September of the precding the Part l examination or in March/April of the Same Year. In case a candidate fails to Quality the subject, the candidture for part-l examination shall stand automatically cancelled and he/she shall have no claim whatsoever againts the College or the University
   
BACHELOR OF ARTS (BA)

A student shall select three subjects in all, selecting not more than one subject from any of the following sets of combinations :
Elective English / Hindi / Sanskrit / Punjabi
( A student can opt for both Hindi Elective and Sanskrit.)

Computer Science / Physical Education
Philosphy
Travel & Tourism
Vocational Course Subject

A student can offer only one vocational course subject from the following:

Information Technology
Note: A student cannot offer both Computer Science & Computer Applications

EILIGIBILITY FOR BA PART ll & lll
A student is eligible to join Part ll /lll if He/She has passed BA Part l /ll exams respectively of GNDU.
A student of BA Part l /ll who is placed under compartment in BA Part l /ll examination of GNDU in April 2011, is eligible to join BA Part ll /lll class provisionally. Such student will be required to clear their compartment in the Supplementary examination. However, the college reserves the right to refuse admission to students placed under compartment
Subjects taken at BA l can now be changed in BA ll provided the student pases the same subject of BA part l as an additional subject
A student offering Physical Education should compulsory get the signature of HoD, Physical Education .

The Vocational subjects of Computer Application & Information Technology can be opted for as elective subjects at the first entry of Graduation (BA/ BSc-Eco). Tjhe subjects are geared to Equip the Students with Fundamental Knowledge about System & Softwares and Techniques in Computer science & information technology. The Parctical Components to Each Subject provide cutting edges to Computer Skills.
